What is Karandila Adventure Camp?
Karandila Adventure Camp is located in the Blue Stones Nature Park along the southern ridge of the Balkan Mountains, in the immediate vicinity of Sliven. It is located 1000 meters above sea level, entirely in the mountains, surrounded by thousands of years old forests and old rocky massifs, in a pure and unspoiled natural environment. Torn apart from the urban environment, children and adolescents play at will, get to know and love nature, make new friends, rediscover and improve themselves.
The program of the children’s camp is performed from morning till evening with hiking, dynamic games, rope adventures, music and dancing. The lessons provide unique fun for the children and seamlessly introduce them to building the character and skills that will serve them for life. Some of them are helping one’s neighbor, meeting the challenges with a smile, taking responsibility for oneself and others. In addition, children develop important life skills for teamwork, leadership, and fighting spirit.
Especially trained coaches take care of the safety and play of the children. Upon arrival, we separate the students into teams and introduce them to their leader – the captain. An exciting week is coming, in addition to enjoying new and interactive children’s and adolescent facilities, we will leap back in time. We will play hide-and-seek, people’s ball and rope, we will chase ourselves as “guards and apaches”, we will play lady, we will dance and we will be crazy. The week will be filled with so much emotion and happiness that the children will forget about the phones and computer games.
Who is in charge of Adventure Camp Karandila, what is the duration and what does it include?
Camp “Karandila” is intended for group children’s and adolescent activities, together with their teachers, sports clubs and schools, with their coaches. It has a bed capacity for 24 children and provides separate accommodation for teachers and coaches.
The duration of the camp is 5 days – from Monday to Friday during the week of Easter holidays, as well as during the summer months – from the beginning of June to the beginning of September.
The camp price of 395 BGN includes:
- 4 nights
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner – freshly cooked food
- Organized games and access to sports facilities with our coaching team
- Organized hikes with our guides
- Role games
- Evening program – campfire, children’s disco / cinema “under the stars”
- Insurance – individual insurance for the use of sports facilities
- Medical personel
- 24 hour security
- Free stay and meals for teachers
What is NOT included in the camp price:
- Transport – transport is charged extra (varies depending on the location of the school or school). Some schools use their own transport, for others we organize one. Please ask our coordinator for specific details.
Relieve a Teacher Initiative – We have trained and trained animators who not only have fun, challenge and teach kids new skills, but also cancel you out as a teacher for at least a few hours. You are more than welcome to participate in all our games, but you can also choose to take a walk in the fresh air through the mountains or just relax after long days in the classroom.
